Each Nelo Surfski comes in 3 volume sizes. If you are between sizes, we recommend you size up if you intend to use your surfski in rougher water, and can go either way if you will paddle in calmer conditions.

AIR: Ultralight weight. Specifically developed for surfski boats. Suited for high performance in all conditions.
SCS: Carbon Epoxy Vacuum. Best for its lightness, stiffness and customizable design option.
WWR: Carbon Kevlar Epoxy Vacuum. Best for its durability and stiffness.
AIR is an SCS build that prioritizes weight.
To achieve lighter weight, thinner gelcoat is applied, so this will be not as cosmetically perfect as WWR and SCS.
The AIR construction is only offered in 5 solid colors: White, Blue, Red, Pink and Light Green.
You can apply personalized vinyl graphics.
The mold joint of the air constructed boat is covered with a black Kevlar tape seam rather than a heavier full gelcoat fill.
All these changes make an incredible 8.5 kg (18.5 lb) boat!

Yes! We keep stock of our most popular models and colors. Please our Inventory page for what we have in stock currently. If what you are looking for is not there – you can place a custom order and get it in on our next shipment.
All surfski’s come with a carbon footrest and adjustable neoprene foot-strap. You can change this to a nylon pull bar. Our surfski’s also have side handles installed, unless ordered otherwise.
For SCS and AIR layup’s your boat will come with a cover.
For WWR layups, any extra’s can be added on at a discounted rate when ordered with the boat.
Yes! We receive regular shipments throughout the year, and can distribute throughout the US and Hawaii..
Once your deposit is paid, and we have your design, we will place your order on our next available shipment. We usually get 2-4 shipments per year. Once the shipment is manufactured, we require the final payment.
Ocean freight takes about 35 days plus time for customs clearance and delivery to our warehouse in Washington.
From there, local pickup is free from our Carson location. Otherwise we do ship to most locations on the West Coast. We ship to a central point – and you might need to drive to meet the shipment. House deliveries are possible, and can be arranged for an extra fee.

For WWR boats, there are a few custom designs available for purchase on the PaddleSports Design website.
Yes, the more colors you use, the heavier your boat will turn out. Also note that brighter colors are lighter.
